The Lodge

Sleeps four in two bedrooms - Saturday Changeover

The Lodge was originally built as the residence of the Head Gardener of The Castle estate. It provides two upstairs bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twin single beds, plus a bathroom with shower, lounge, dining room, separate WC, laundry room and kitchen.

In addition The Lodge also has its own enclosed courtyard patio area for the exclusive use of its tenants with its own table and chairs.

Both bedrooms have generous wardrobe and drawer space and additional storage space is provided in a large built in cupboard on the upstairs landing. The bathroom has a separate shower cubicle. The lounge has a sofa and armchairs and a DVD player and Freeview box are provided together with a Hi-Fi system. There is a large supply of books and children’s games. The laundry room has a washing machine and dryer together with storage space for the ironing board, iron etc. The Dining room is spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need. There is a microwave and a large fridge/freezer unit in addition to the electric cooker. A drying line is provided in a separate area next to the main Greenhouses.

The Lodge is tastefully and comfortably furnished throughout. A copy of the full inventory, which meets all English Tourist Board requirements, can be provided on request.
